Behind the Screen

Getting close

Several of us here at Borland have been banging on this new version of .Text, getting familiar with it, and finding the holes. Robert Love’s been really responsive and good at fixing them. He’s almost done implementing the web services calls for the BDP Blog Provider .Text uses to talk to InterBase.

He evidently didn’t think we’d be needing those functions. Silly boy … we’re a bunch ‘o geeks. If the feature exists, we want to try it!

I’m looking forward to announcing this blog server, and getting half the company blogging. No more information vacuum … tasty tidbits and unofficial nuggets will be the flavor of the year. But it will all be “read at your own risk!”

  1. There is no way to get back to the blog homepage (blogs.borland.com) from a specific blog – that I can see anyway.

Also, any chance of making the date format on the front page friendly to international visitors?

  2. Jeremy,
Good Points, http://qc.borland.com will soon have a place to record suggestion and bugs regarding the blogging application. When it does can you please place you suggestion there so I don’t have to search each persons blog to find all of the suggestions/problems.

    Thanks
    Robert Love
